On Monday 12th June 2017, Caitlin De Jode, a pro-abortion campaigner, wrote an article strongly criticising the DUP and describing Northern Ireland as the “worst place in Europe for women’s reproductive rights”. Abortion isn’t healthcare. The so-called “choice” to determine whether someone lives or die isn’t a right! It is barbaric, inhumane murder.
We should be providing women with medical, emotional, financial, life-affirming support throughout and after their pregnancies for as long as needed, particularly crisis pregnancies, so that the lives of mothers and their children are saved. There is never a medical necessity for an abortion, the intentional killing of an unborn child. Medical experts should always try to simultaneously save both the life of the mother and her baby and no scientist in the world will say or can prove that human life doesn’t begin at conception.
Caitlin De Jode says the DUP’s views ignore the “majority of the population which supports the liberalisation of current laws.” Then why did the majority of population vote for the DUP? Because, despite the DUP’s faults, they have a pro-life position on abortion, which is the most important human rights battle of our generation and this century.
The huge success of DUP candidates and their 20% increase of seats shows that the majority people in Northern Ireland voted pro-life on Thursday 8th May 2017.
10 DUP politicians have been elected, all of whom are pro-life and have promised to uphold and respect the dignity and life of our innocent unborn babies. DUP have publicly declared themselves to be a pro-life party. They are potentially going to join forces with the Conservative Party in order to form a government.
Since the introduction of the British 1967 Act, nearly 9 million unborn babies have been brutally murdered by abortion. That’s 200,000 abortions every year, and 600 every day. In fact, the Westminster Parliament is the most anti-life government in Europe. Therefore, our pro-life MPs must save both the lives of mothers and babies.
In 2009 DUP MP David Simpson called for a change in British abortion legislation to make it more like NI law on the issue. He criticised pro-abortion MPs as having an “anti-democratic, anti-human rights stance.” Gregory Campbell DUP MP for East Londonderry described the party as “unashamedly pro-life” and “we will not be changing our support for the retention of innocent life-There is nothing more innocent than an unborn child.”
De Jode described DUP power as “sending shivers down the spines of many right-thinking people”. Right-thinking people believe that Life is a Right not a Privilege and without the Right to Life all other Human Rights become meaningless! They believe that between 50 and 60 million innocent babies being poisoned and dismembered every year is murder. They believe that both the lives of mothers and babies should be protected, cherished and saved.
There is no right to abortion under any instrument of international law. Various international Human Rights instruments provide support for the equal protection of human beings at all developmental stages and in all conditions, which of course includes human beings in the womb.
De Jode’s article openly admits that women in Northern Ireland take abortion pills ordered online that could be “dangerous”. At least 22 deaths caused through abortion pills. Furthermore, the risks of so-called “safe and legal abortions” should be made very clear as 100s of women have died due to the adverse effects of abortion and many deaths are under-reported. A woman in 2012 died in a taxi after a “safe and legal” abortion in a London Marie Stopes.
True feminists protect human life. Over half abortions are female. A real feminist would fight for the rights of unborn women. Pro-life is pro-woman while abortion is pro-nobody. Abortion is a patriarchal tool.
The media revealed that in June 2012 that 200 abortion activists, including Helen Crickard, signed an open letter declaring that they had helped women to get pills, broken the law and they invited the PSNI to prosecute them. The Facebook page of Women on Web was shut down very recently due to their promotion of illegal drugs. The law is the law. If we abide by the law we shall not be prosecuted.
Women on Web don’t provide scientific information they provide information regarding an illegal drug that causes the dismembering, poisoning and murder of an innocent baby. We must remember the fundamental right to life! Why would a bacteria be considered life on mars and a heartbeat not be considered life on earth?
De Jode claims that according to a poll between 60-70% of Northern Ireland want a change to the law on abortion.
It is worth noting that this poll by Amnesty International, an anti-life, anti-human rights organisation, claims that the majority of Northern are pro-abortion. This is inaccurate and falsified information. 1000 people out of a population of at least 1.8 million were asked for this survey. 70% of 1.8 million is not 1000. Perhaps Amnesty International need a lesson in basics Maths lesson.
A recent poll on the UK public's views on abortion showed that 60% of the population want to see the time limit for abortions reduced from the current upper limit of 24 weeks, with one in three favouring a time limit of 12 weeks or lower.
Ryan Day, Senior Policy Officer for ADF International, based in London.
“It is clear that the British public oppose any drive to further liberalise the law, and rather want to see women and children protected through a combination of better practical help for women and a reduced time limit. As a society we should create an environment in which all parents feel able to welcome their children into the world.”
The poll also showed that the vast majority support the legal provision of independent counselling for women. Currently, most organizations that offer counselling are also paid to perform abortions. 93 percent of women wanted to see that changed in law. Furthermore, 79 percent opted in favour of a five-day waiting period before an abortion could be performed and 65 percent opposed UK taxpayer money being spent on overseas abortions.
Inspectors at Marie Stopes found failings in infection control systems, with poor hand hygiene, and failures in following basic surgery checklists. Remains of aborted babies were left in “open hazardous waste bins”.
The Care Quality Commission inspectors at the Marie Stopes centre in Maidstone, Kent voiced concern over the fact that when certifying the legal grounds for an abortion, “the two certifying doctors had not usually seen the patient prior to a termination”. The doctors instead “relied on the healthcare assistance or nurse’s summary of the facts”.
It was revealed that their doctors “approve thousands of abortions without meeting the women”, ‘bulk signing’ the consent forms. More than 190,000 abortions are carried out each year in Britain, with around 60,000 of these undertaken at Marie Stopes’ abortion centres. It can take as little as 22 seconds “for a call-centre worker at Marie Stopes to approve of an abortion.” One doctor was reported signing 26 consent forms in two minutes, signing for babies to be poisoned and dismembered. Dr John Parsons, former Marie Stopes’ consultant gynaecologist, said “We worked in an atmosphere of bullying and pressure – it was nothing more than a conveyor belt service.”
Maria Caulfield, Conservative MP for Lewes said, “I and my colleagues will not be silenced as we seek to be the voices of the voiceless” particularly “at a time when the UK abortion industry is knee-deep in allegations of unsafe and unethical practices”.
Abortion Increases Breast Cancer
Our country is the safest place in the world for mothers and babies.
A new British study by Patrick S. Carroll and colleagues shows a high correlation with abortion and breast cancer that remains ignored or denied in our so-called “politically correct” society.
British data shows a high positive correlation between abortion rates and breast cancer in women aged 50-54, since abortion was legalised in the UK in 1967. This also seems to reflect the beginning of hormonal contraception with “extensive use.”
Abortion not only removes the protective maturing of the breasts during pregnancy and lactation, but actually leaves them in a more vulnerable state, while the estrogen in hormonal contraceptives increases cancer risk. A new study from Finland in March found further evidence of a link between hormonal contraceptives (the IUD) and breast cancer and according to Simon Caldwell, writing for the Daily Mail, Abortion “triples breast cancer risk”.
Harvard Professor David Williams’ 2016 study on breast cancer in the U.S. found that “black women had a death rate for breast cancer that was more than twice as high as the rate for whites at ages 35 to 44, was 70% higher at the ages 45 to 54, and was 50% higher at the ages of 55 to 64 years.”
The delayed first pregnancy-breast cancer link is well established and “The medical establishment does not dare deny it.” However, what that establishment “buried” is the role of abortion in relating to breast cancer at all despite the fact that abortions and delayed first pregnancy can lead to a 41% higher risk if it is delayed 10 years and a 68% higher risk with a 15-year delay.”
This month the BioMedical Central Women’s Health published on their website that those with prior induced abortions have 5.41 times the breast cancer risk as women with no prior induced abortions.
“Over the last 10 years and three months, there have been 50 significant studies published on abortion and breast cancer,” Brent Rooney said." Forty-nine studies report that prior abortions boost breast cancer risk.”
Reality of Abortion Procedure
If pro-abortion people, like Caitlin De Jode, don’t want to believe the words of pro-life activists, trust in the words of Anthony Levatino, a former pro-abortion obstetrician gynaecologist of 37 years’ experience, “In my career I performed 1200 abortions and everything I tell you is first-hand and true”. He emphasises that a 2nd trimester abortion is a “blind procedure” involving reaching in with the “instrument again and again and tear out the spine, the intestines, the heart and lungs.”
“You know you did it right if you crush down on the instrument and a white material runs out of the cervix. That was the babies’ brain and then you can pull out skull pieces.”
He speaks of the “little face that comes back and stares back at you. Congratulations you just performed a second trimester abortion. You just affirmed her right to choose. You just made $800 cash in 15 minutes.” However, he goes on to say that his view changed and “I didn’t see her wonderful right to choose I didn’t see what a great doctor I was helping her with problems I didn’t even see the $800 cash I’d made in 15 minutes all I could see was somebodies son or daughter.”
“I have terminated 100s of pregnancies in my career to save women’s lives and I didn’t have to kill a single baby in the process” and“If you let this genie out of the lamp you will not be able to put it back.” It is a slippery slope to abortion-on-demand “And soon it really will be choice.”
