“They get her money and finish the business deal by killing her unborn child.”

The ‘Stop Marie Stopes Campaign’ has organised a peaceful demonstration outside the Marie Stopes centre in Belfast on Friday 21st August, from 2.00-4.00pm. This is to send out a clear message that the people of Northern Ireland will never stand idly by and allow Marie Stopes to exploit vulnerable women and kill their unborn children.

Thanks to the undercover investigations lead by the Center for Medical Progress in California, the world has witnessed what really goes on behind the closed doors of abortion giant Planned Parenthood: the slaughtering of unborn babies and the harvesting of their organs for profit. In response to such atrocities, this week pro-life activists throughout the world will be picketing outside their local abortion referral centres and clinics to protest against the heartless brutality and illegal activities of Planned Parenthood and Marie Stopes International.

Bernadette Smyth, the director of Precious Life, commented:

“Some people might wonder, ‘What does Planned Parenthood have to do with Northern Ireland?’ Just like the profit-driven abortionists in Planned Parenthood, Marie Stopes’ mission is to exploit as many vulnerable women as they can. They lie to their ‘clients’ and lead them to believe that their unborn children are worthless ‘clumps of cells’ or ‘blood clots’ that can be flushed down a toilet. They get their money and finish the business deal by killing their unborn children.

“The people of Northern Ireland have always made their voices heard that Marie Stopes will never be wanted nor needed in Northern Ireland. We will not stand idly by and let them plague our streets with their bloodthirsty and barbaric pursuit to exploit vulnerable women and kill unborn children. We will do everything we can to save mothers and their children from Marie Stopes’ clutches and provide them with all the love and practical help and support they deserve.”

The ‘Stop Marie Stopes Campaign’ is inviting everyone to attend the peaceful demonstration outside the Marie Stopes centre in Belfast on Friday 21st August, from 2.00pm-4.00pm.
