"Empty Manger" Candle-light Carol Service

"Empty Manger" Candle-light Carol Service

Please join Precious Life for our annual “Empty Manger” Candle-light Carol Service, on Friday 23rd December 2016, from 3.00pm to 4.00pm

We will gather around an empty manger to sing Christmas Carols at the Marie Stopes Centre in Belfast.

The purpose of the event is to bring the light and joy and hope of Christmas to this place of darkness, misery and despair.

What would Christmas be without the Baby Jesus? What will Christmas be like this year in all those homes with missing babies — all the babies who would have experienced their first Christmas this year?

The empty manger is a dual symbol. Like the empty manger lovingly placed in every Christmas crib in anticipation of celebrating the Nativity of Jesus Christ, it represents the joy that should accompany the birth of every child.

The empty manger also represents the emptiness left behind by abortion - the emotional and spiritual vacuum where a baby once was. We don't want any woman to experience that, and that's why we'll be there to offer our message of hope.

Please bring your family and friends. Everyone welcome.
