Pro-Abortion Alliance Councillor claims pictures of a baby are harmful
A pro-abortion Alliance Party councillor in Lurgan has claimed pictures of a baby are ‘deeply upsetting’ and insinuated that they have caused “harm to residents”
Cllr Peter Lavery has demanded the Department of Infrastructure remove them as soon as possible.
Posters appeared in Lurgan town centre over the weekend that show a picture of a living and developing baby in the womb, with the simple words - “This is a baby”
The pictures were described as “graphic anti-abortion posters”
Peter Lavery said: “It has been brought to my attention that a number of anti-abortion posters containing graphic imagery were erected in Lurgan town centre over the weekend …Such images can be deeply upsetting to women …I have reported these posters to the Department for Infrastructure requesting that they are removed as soon as possible to prevent further harm to residents.”
However, the picture of the baby is similar to images given to pregnant women by the HSC Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland. “The Pregnancy Book” is available on their website.
Peter Lavery’s hysterical reaction to a picture of a baby only serves to prove that those who support abortion want to cover-up, censor, and ban any image that shows the humanity of a baby in the womb - regardless of whether the picture shows an aborted baby or a living baby.
Precious Life has been contacted by residents of Lurgan who say they are deeply upset that Peter Lavery and the Alliance Party approve of killing babies in the womb, and the Party’s support for abortion will cause further harm to babies in Northern Ireland.
