Abortion Extremist MP wants ALL legal protection removed from babies in the womb

Abortion Extremist MP Diana Johnson wants ALL legal protection removed from babies in the womb.

The pro-abortion Labour MP is attempting to hijack a Bill in Westminster by tabling an amendment that would completely decriminalise abortion, including abortion up to the moment of birth for all unborn babies, for any reason.

Diana Johnson’s amendment - New Clause 55 – would remove the sections of the "Offences Against the Person Act” that still give some protection to unborn babies in England and Wales. But this new clause would decriminalise abortion completely.

This would be the biggest change to abortion legislation in England and Wales since 1967.

Even though the 1967 Abortion Act effectively legalised abortion for any reason – abortion still remains a criminal offence under the Offences Against The Person Act. The 1967 Act only gave doctors a legal defence for carrying out abortions.

But ‘New Clause 55’ would remove any legal protection that unborn babies still had left under the Offences Against The Person Act. The Clause would allow ANYONE to supply the means for an abortion without criminal sanction.

Pro-abortion MPs in Westminster used this same tactic to force abortion on Northern Ireland – by hijacking the Northern Ireland Executive Formation Act and adding an amendment in Section 9  to remove the pro-life sections of the Offences Against the Person. Not content with babies being killed in Northern Ireland, they now want to strip any remaining protection for unborn babies in England and Wales by tabling this abortion amendment to the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.
