Department of Health kills 1556 babies, then lectures us on what is "pro-life"
The Northern Ireland Department of Health has issued a statement claiming that Covid-19 vaccines are “pro-life.” https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/news/covid-19-fact-file-vaccines-are-pro-life
It must first be noted that since March 2020, the NI Department of Health has killed over 1556 babies by abortion.
Therefore any so-called “pro-life” statement from the NI Department of Health lacks all credibility.
The Department goes on to claim the link between vaccine development and abortions is “incidental and remote” because it has involved the use of cells lines obtained from an aborted baby “decades earlier.”
However, killing a baby “decades” ago is still as morally wrong as killing a baby today (or indeed the 1556 babies that the Department has killed.)
The Department claim the COVID-19 vaccines being provided in NI - Pfizer, Moderna and Astra Zeneca - do not contain cells from aborted babies.
The Department’s statement cites the Charlotte Lozier Institute, an American pro-life organization, as listing Pfizer and Modern vaccines as “ethically uncontroversial” because “Pfizer and Moderna did not use fetal derived cells during design and development or production of their vaccines.”
However the Charlotte Lozier Institute lists the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines' Confirmatory Laboratory Tests as - "SOME tests DO NOT use abortion-derived cells, SOME DO.” https://lozierinstitute.org/update-covid-19-vaccine-candidates-and-abortion-derived-cell-lines/
The NI Department of Health then fail to mention that the Charlotte Lozier Institute also says the Astrzenca vaccine “DOES USE abortion-derived cell lines” in Design & Development, Confirmatory Lab Tests, AND Production https://lozierinstitute.org/update-covid-19-vaccine-candidates-and-abortion-derived-cell-lines/
People in Northern Ireland being injected with the covid-19 vaccines do not know (or cannot choose) if they are given the Pfizer, Moderna or Astra Zeneca vaccines.
The cell line used in the Pfizer, Moderna and Astra Zeneca vacines is "HEK293", which originated from a healthy child aborted in the 1970s.
- - Moderna used the HEK293 fetal cell line in the research and development of their vaccine.
- - Pfizer/BioNTech used the HEK293 fetal cell line in the research and development of their vaccine. They also used the HEK293 cell line for testing the vaccine. It is not known if Pfizer/BioNTech used the HEK293 fetal cell line in ongoing quality control testing during the manufacturing.
- - AstraZeneca used the HEK293 fetal cell line in the research and development of their vaccine. To 'propogate the virus' in the HEK293 cells means to grow it in them. AstraZeneca also use the HEK293 fetal cell line in manufacturing their vaccine.

The Department of Health’s statement also posts links to statements from Catholic Bishops and Pope Francis.
However, the Department fails to provide any links to Cathecism of the Catholic Church, which on the issue of "THE MORALITY OF HUMAN ACTS" states:
- “It is…an error to judge the morality of human acts by considering only the intention that inspires them…There are acts which, in and of themselves, independently of circumstances and intentions, are always gravely illicit…One may not do evil so that good may result from it.” (CCC 1756)
- “An evil action cannot be justified by reference to a good intention…The end does not justify the means.” (CCC 1759)

The Catechism also describes ABORTION as an “abominable crime” and states, “...since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable” (CCC 2271).

The Catholic Church document – ‘DIGNITAS PERSONAE’ (Dignity of the Person) also states “…When the illicit action is endorsed by the laws which regulate healthcare and scientific research, it is necessary to distance oneself from the evil aspects of that system in order not to give the impression of a certain toleration or…acceptance of actions which are gravely unjust. In December 2O2O, a group of Bishops and Archbishops issued a statement on the immorality of vaccines using cell lines from aborted babies:

If the NI Department of Health feels the need to provide links to statements from Pope Francis, then they should provide links to his statements comparing abortion to killings by Mafia hitmen…

So don’t lecture us, NI Department of Health, on what is "pro-life” when your own hired hitmen have committed the crime and absolute evil of eliminating over 1556 small, innocent and defenceless babies in Northern Ireland.
