Pro-abortion Parties in NI Assembly ignore the ultimate violence against women and girls - ABORTION!
On Tuesday 14th January 2025, the Northern Ireland Assembly debated a motion on "Ending Violence Against Women and Girls."
And rightly so! All right thinking people are opposed to violence against women and girls and it must be ended.
However during the debate, it was only Timothy Gaston of the TUV who highlighted the one glaring omission - the world's biggest killer when it comes to girls is abortion.
He exposed the pro-abortion MLAs who ignored this horrific fact when he said, “It is shameful that there is not more openness on the issue … If Members are concerned about violence against girls and want to address it in a motion about RSE [Relationships and Sexuality Education], the motion should attack the fact that RSE must, by law, teach pupils how to access services that result in the end of life.”
The fact is that abortion was the leading cause of death worldwide in 2024, according to data published by “Worldometer”, which showed there were 45.1 million babies killed by abortion last year [see story here...]
If the ratio of births averaging 105 boys to 100 girls is applied to abortion, this means at least 22 million girls were killed by abortion last year.
However, as Timothy Gaston MLA pointed out - "In many countries, abortion means that girls are vastly more likely to perish than boys."
The number of girls killed by abortion is higher in counties like India, China, and Canada.
A 2018 government report found about 63 million women were “missing” from the country’s population. In China, there are 34 million more men than women. In Canada, their Medical Association Journal called the country a “haven” for sex-selective abortion. It found that: “Easy access to abortion and advances in prenatal sex determination have combined to make Canada a haven for parents who would terminate female fetuses in favour of having sons"
Even in the UK there is a growing body of evidence suggesting that sex-selective abortions are occurring, and in such cases, it is baby girls being aborted.
The abortion law forced on Northern Ireland by Westminster in 2020 is one of the most extreme in the world and allows for abortion throughout the 9 months of pregnancy for ANY reason. So if the reason is that the baby is a girl, there will be no questions asked.
This horrific abortion law is supported by Sinn Fein, SDLP, Alliance Party, Green Party, PBP, and members of the UUP
In Northern Ireland, the most recent official number is 8,490 babies killed by abortion since the law was introduced here.
Using the same 'boy : girl' birth ratio, this means approximately 4,349 boys and 4,141 girls have been killed by abortion in Northern Ireland since 2020.
And Sinn Fein, SDLP, Alliance Party, Green Party, PBP, and UUP have the audacity to shed crocodile tears about violence against women and girls, while supporting the killing of 4,141 little baby girls in Northern Ireland.
Their utter hypocrisy is proof they are not fit to hold public office and must resign immediately.
