NEW Women's Health Centre - Stanton Healthcare Belfast - Opened
A NEW women's health centre opened its doors to women facing unexpected pregnancies for the first time in Belfast.
Speaking at the grand opening Bernadette Smyth, the leader of Precious Life, said,
"It is an historic day for the pro-life movement in Ireland as a brand new pregnancy care centre, Stanton Healthcare Belfast, opens its doors for the first time. Stanton is a completely new revolution in pregnancy health care - The new centre will be offering women facing unexpected pregnancies life-affirming options and quality healthcare".
She added:
"Since the opening of Marie Stopes in Belfast in 2012, women in Northern Ireland have been exploited and used by greedy abortion providers like Marie Stopes who care more about making profit than they do about supporting vulnerable women".
"Stanton will do everything that is needed for a woman and her child, not just for the first nine months of pregnancy but for as long as they need us. Our long term vision is to replace the Marie Stopes centre in Belfast with a life affirming centre that offers real choices and real alternatives".
Also speaking at the opening was Brandi Swindell, the founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare in the United States. Brandi - who travelled from Boise in Idaho with her delegation which included Rev Patrick Mahoney, Doctor Vicky Wooll, and Clinic Director Angie Dwyer - spoke to the supporting guests that:
"Stanton will provide the best care and practical support for mums to help overcome obstacles in choosing life for her baby we will offer a much needed alternative at no cost because we believe that women and their unborn children deserve better than abortion."
