THE GUARDIAN EXPOSURE

It came to Precious Life’s attention in November that Goretti Horgan, a campaigner for Alliance for Choice in Northern Ireland, was collaborating with a woman in Derry who works for The Guardian and who had been “pushing to get [The Guardian] to make the lack of abortion rights in Northern Ireland its next big campaign.” The paper promised to run a series of stories, film pieces, and “an editorial calling for change”.

Armed with the best pseudonyms and ‘testimonies’ it could gather, between November and January The Guardian bombarded its readers with an onslaught of pro-abortion articles, leaving many of its readers disgusted and disillusioned that journalists belonging to a supposedly reputable newspaper would have such an outrageous misunderstanding of the law on abortion in Northern Ireland, would allow their poisonous contempt for unborn children distort the distinction between comment, conjecture and fact, and produce something more befitting of a trashy tabloid.

Precious Life followed these articles closely and believed it was time that the journalists responsible were challenged. ‘The Guardian Exposure’ is a compilation of every blunder and groundless aim contained in the articles and exposes where these journalists went so horribly wrong.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the first instalment of ‘The Guardian Exposure’ which concerns the law on abortion in Northern Ireland.
