URGENT: WE NEED YOU TO ACT NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE
I have just received the devastating news that two pro-abortion MLAs from the Alliance Party are spearheading a massive attack on our vulnerable unborn children. Overnight, Alliance MLAs Trevor Lunn and Stewart Dickson brought forward a proposed amendment to the Criminal Justice Bill to change the law on abortion to allow the killing of unborn children with life-limiting conditions, right up to the moment of birth. As well as this, the leader of the pro-abortion Green Party, Steven Agnew MLA, has brought forward a proposed amendment to legalise abortion of unborn children conceived in rape.
Shockingly, these proposed amendments are due to be considered next Tuesday 9th February. This only gives us 7 days to counter this brutal attack against the most vulnerable in our society.
As you may remember from my last letter, Judge Horner made his final order in December that the matter of introducing new legislation to allow abortion in the above cases was now in the hands of the Northern Ireland Assembly, and because of this these three bloodthirsty politicians were given the ‘green light’ to tear our pro-life laws to shreds.
It really scares me to tell you that we are dangerously close, the closest we have ever been, to having abortion legalised in Northern Ireland. If these pro-abortion politicians get their way on Tuesday 9th February, the most vulnerable and defenceless unborn children will be torn violently from their mother’s womb or ‘delivered early’ and left struggling for breath in a cold and dark utility room until they die. And this would only be the beginning. As certain as the sun rises in the morning, these so-called ‘limited exceptions’ would give way to abortion on demand.
WE NEED TO ACT NOW BECAUSE TIME IS NOT ON OUR SIDE!
I am writing to you, , to urgently ask that you put pressure on every MLA in your constituency to vote against these evil amendments.
I have just come off the radio after doing a debate on the BBC Stephen Nolan Show where I exposed the evil plans of the Alliance Party and the Green Party. What concerned me the most after doing the debate was that the only parties who had made a clear statement in opposition to these proposed amendments were the TUV and David McNarry from UKIP. As I write this letter to you I am awaiting a statement from the DUP and SDLP. It would be a total disaster for the future of this pro-life nation if these political parties who had protected our unborn children for decades were to buckle under the pressure of the media and pro-abortion forces who will stop at nothing to bring abortion on demand into Northern Ireland
THAT IS WHY I NEED YOU TO IMMEDIATELY CONTACT YOUR MLAS, either by phone, email or by calling down to their constituency office, to let them know that you will not be voting for them in the upcoming election if they vote in favour of any change in the law.
I need you to ask the DUP and SDLP the following question:
“What is your position on abortion for unborn children with a life-limiting condition? Also will you put forward a petition of concern to block the Stewart Dickson and Steven Agnew amendments?”
I ALSO NEED YOU TO JOIN ME AT A VIGIL AT THE MAIN GATES OF STORMONT PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS, UPPER NEWTOWNARDS ROAD, on Monday 8th February at 7.00pm, the evening before the proposed amendments will be brought to the floor of the Northern Ireland Assembly to be considered for a vote.
It must be shouted from the rooftops that that the people of Antrim, Armagh, Down, Derry, Fermanagh and Tyrone say “NO” to the lethal discrimination of the most vulnerable and defenceless unborn children in Northern Ireland.
ABOVE ALL, I NEED YOU TO PRAY AND FAST for the defeat of these evil amendments. It is our responsibility to do everything we can to ensure that unborn children continue to be protected in law, policy and practice. We must continue to work like everything depends on us, but also pray like everything depends on God.
