You would be forgiven for the assumption that Hollywood is exclusively pro-choice, or in more direct words, pro-abortion. In recent times, we have seen starlets like Jennifer Lawrence, Reese Witherspoon and Emma Watson laud Planned Parenthood as a wonderful and faultless provider of ‘women’s healthcare’ and the safe keeper of women’s ‘reproductive rights.’ Most of the time, the ruthlessly politically correct residents of tinsel town show zero compassion for the unborn child in the womb, instead glorifying the woman’s so-called ‘right’ to access abortion, the intentional killing of that child, freely and easily.

However, do not despair because there are also some true advocates for life to be found in Hollywood. Granted, not nearly enough, but these courageous stars who are swimming against the popular tide in the world of fame and fortune are very inspirational.

Football star Tim Tebow isn’t shy about expressing his Christian faith and his pro-life convictions and has made both publicized. During a recent Super Bowl XLIV, Tebow appeared in a pro-life advertisement that shared how his mother rejected abortion and instead chose life for him despite being advised otherwise for the sake of her own health. Tebow’s foundation also holds the annual “Night to Shine” event, which celebrates individuals with special needs.

Popstar Justin Bieber also appears o be adamantly pro-life and not afraid to share it. In 2011, he shared his thoughts on abortion with Rolling Stone. He said, “I really don’t believe in abortion. I think [an embryo] is a human. It’s like killing a baby.”

His mother, who has revealed that she turned to a pro-life pregnancy centre for help when she was pregnant with Bieber, also helped promote the pro-life “Crescendo.”

Benjamin Watson, an American footballer for the Baltimore Ravens, has spoken out about how abortion disproportionately kills African Americans and is a devastating source of racism today. Watson, who spoke at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C in 2017, is exposing Planned Parenthood’s origins in the racist views of its founder Margaret Sanger.

“I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks,” Watson said. “And it’s kind of ironic that it’s working.”

“American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks has participated in pro-life events and speaks out openly about her Christian faith. LifeSite News reports that one photo “in particular, which allegedly originally came from Jordin’s personal MySpace page (it is no longer there), shows Jordin holding up a popular pro-life sign—a red stop sign with the words “Stop Abortion Now.”

Patricia Heaton, the famous American actress who stared on “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “The Middle” is a vocal and impassioned advocate for life. During the summer, she spoke out against Iceland’s genocide of preborn children with Down syndrome. Patricia Heaton hit CBS with some unfiltered truth about the meaning of the word "eliminate" in the context in which it was used. Heaton hit the nail directly on the head with her tweet from August 15th which reads, ‘Iceland isn’t actually eliminating Down Syndrome. They’re just killing everybody that has it. Big difference.’

She often posts pro-life content on her social media platforms. Heaton has spoken out against abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and euthanasia.

Jack Nicholson is pro-life and has a moving testimony. As a teenager his mother found herself pregnant. She was pressured and advised to have an abortion, but she refused. When Nicholson discussed the situation, he affirmed his pro-life view: “I’m very contra my constituency in terms of abortion because I’m positively against it. I don’t have the right to any other view. My only emotion is gratitude, literally, for my life.”

Passion of the Christ actor Jim Caviezel spoke passionately against abortion during an event at Rock Church in San Diego. During his strong message, Caviezel called abortion America’s “great sin,” and shared that there is hope and healing for families affected by abortion. He also told the Catholic Register in a now famous quote, that he values his pro-life convictions more than his career:

“Look, I am for helping women. I just don’t see abortion as helping women. And I don’t love my career that much to say, ‘I’m going to remain silent on this.”

Andrea Bocelli, the world-renowned Italian singer shared back in 2011 how his mother was pressured to get an abortion while pregnant with him. She refused. Although Bocelli is blind, he has opened the eyes of the world to his incredible talent and passion for music.

Famous actor Kelsey Grammer is definitely a bold pro-life advocate, known for wearing pro-life t-shirts and posting bold pro-life statements on his social media channels, which is often met with heated backlash from abortion advocates. Grammer, who has attended the March for Life in Washington, once called “reproductive rights” a “dishonest” term, noting that killing isn’t a right anyone should have. “It gets a bit dishonest to call something reproductive rights when you clearly have a choice well before a baby is conceived,” Grammer said. “If someone has to die as a result of rape, then we should kill the rapist — not the unborn child.”

Kathy Ireland, world-renowned supermodel, has appeared on the covers of major magazines, such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. As a notable actress, businesswoman, and pro-life speaker, Ireland is not afraid to stand up for the unborn child in the womb. She has advocated for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, spoken at a whole host of pro-life events, and fearlessly defended life on national television. She told Huckabee, “I always have and I will continue to fight for women’s rights,” going on to describe her former pro-choice perspective: “even though maybe I wouldn’t have [an abortion] myself, who am I to impose my beliefs on someone else. It’s a woman’s body, it’s her choice after all.”

It wasn’t until years later that Ireland says she really decided to look into the science surrounding the issue of abortion.

“What I learned is at the moment of conception, a new life comes into being, the DNA, the genetic blueprint is there, the sex is determined, the blood type is determined, the unique set of fingerprints is there.”
