URGENT PRAYER required to stop Stella Creasy's attackon NI's unborn babies

Date: 22nd November 2019

Tonight, we face another potentially catastrophic attempt by pro-abortion MPs at Westminster to impose abortion on Northern Ireland. An amendment to the “Northern Ireland (Executive Formation and Exercise of Functions) Bill” is being brought before Parliament for a second reading tomorrow.

The amendment  – New Clause 7 (NC7) - not only disregards devolution but also aims to create guidance which would direct senior officers of all Northern Ireland departments to act contrary to the existing pro-life law in the Province. The amendment first came before Parliament on October 24th, and MPs sadly voted yes to a second reading.

Director of Precious Life Bernadette Smyth commented, "Pro-abortion MPs are hijacking the Bill to override the democratic process in Northern Ireland and change the law on abortion. If passed, amendment NC7 in the Bill would overturn Northern Ireland’s pro-life laws, which are a devolved matters for our Assembly and the people of Northern Ireland – not Westminster."

Please join us in praying and fasting at this urgent time for a good outcome tomorrow.  We are hoping that Parliament will run out of time and a reading of this pro-abortion legislation will not take place.

Unborn babies and their mothers are relying on you and your prayers so that a reading of Stella Creasy's amendment will not take place or will be unsuccessful. Remember - prayer changes everything and is our greatest weapon! As St. Paul says in his letter to the Romans, "With God on our side, who can be against us?"

Thank you so much for your continued prayer and action,

Yours in life,

 Bernadette Smyth
