PRESS RELEASE: Precious Life Launch New 'Vote Pro-Life' Billboard Campaign in Northern Ireland
-- PRESS RELEASE --
Date: 9th April 2019
Precious Life launches a new Billboard Campaign in Northern Ireland. The mobile trucks, conveying a 'Vote Pro-Life' message, will be travelling across the length and breadth of the province in the run up to the local council elections on May 2nd.
Precious Life have commenced their 'Vote Pro-Life' Billboard Campaign in an effort to encourage people across the different towns and cities of Northern Ireland to vote only for candidates who will protect the right to life of unborn children. Bernadette Smyth, Director of Precious Life, said, "The mobile billboards highlight the importance of voting only for the political candidates who will protect and uphold the most fundamental and universal human right to life for all unborn children in Northern Ireland."
Mrs Smyth went on to say, "We are encouraging the citizens of Northern Ireland, on Thursday 2nd May, to vote only for pro-life candiates to send out a clear message that they want unborn babies and their mothers to remain protected from the barbarity and violence of abortion. Our billboards urge the people of Northern Ireland to make their vote count by voting pro-life!"
Bernadette Smyth concluded, "While Councils in Northern Ireland have no direct power over abortion laws, local Councils are now being used to support motions calling for the legalisation of abortion up to birth. These mobile billboards and our upcoming information meetings across Northern Ireland are essential to save our pro-life laws by imploring the people of Northern Ireland to elect only pro-life candidates."
Precious Life will also be holding 'Vote Pro-Life' information meetings in Maghera, Newry, Belfast, Derry and Dungannon in the lead up to the council elections on May 2nd.
