HYPOCRISY OF WESTMINSTER GOVERNMENT:
The “Northern Ireland (Executive Formation) Act 2019” - which includes the legislation to legally kill unborn babies in Northern Ireland - officially became law on 24th July.
On the same day, the Government passed another law - the “Wild Animals in Circuses Act” - which bans the use of wild animals in travelling circuses. The Government said “The use of wild animals in travelling circuses has no place in modern society...Today’s announcement follows other measures we have taken to strengthen our position as a world leader on animal protection.”
The Government rightly should protect wild animals, but the passing of these two laws on the same day, exposes the hypocrisy of the Westminster Government who strengthen protection for wild animals, but then remove all protection for human babies in the womb. Abortion - the deliberate killing of unborn babies - has no place in modern society.
