Abortion Provider offer illegal abortion to help woman enjoy beach holiday

Director of Precious Life, Bernadette Smyth has welcomed the undercover investigation by Christian Concern which revealed the scheming tactics of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) to make profit from abortion for any reason.

Video footage taken by an undercover investigator revealed that BPAS - Britain's largest provider of abortions - illegally posted abortion pills to a woman who didn’t want to worry about looking pregnant on the beach while she was on holiday.

The sting video clips were released ahead of a judicial review decision expected from the Court of Appeal which will determine the government’s decision to allow DIY abortions during the coronavirus lockdown was either lawful or unlawful.

Bernadette Smyth lambasted the insidious abortion provider for their horrific introduction of ‘through-the-post’ abortion pills.

“BPAS are acutely aware of the dangers associated with the abortion pill. They state themselves that risks include haemorrhaging, infection, ruptured womb, uterine perforations, psychological problems and even death. Yet, it is clear they do not care about women’s health,” she said.

Bernadette also called out BPAS for claiming that abortion was a form of “essential healthcare” in NI during the lockdown. She condemned the abortion provider for capitalising on the coronavirus lockdown to kill more innocent human life.

“This is an absolutely horrific attack on mothers and unborn babies. BPAS already kill thousands of babies every day, yet not content with the enormous level of death and destruction, they are hell-bent on destroying and killing more human life in Northern Ireland.”

“At a time of unprecedented crisis when we are focusing our efforts on preserving vulnerable life – BPAS are shamelessly doing everything they can to boost their profits by capitalising on the shock and fear that women experience when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. It is a despicable manipulation of the covid-19 crisis. Not content with killing unborn children, BPAS gravely threaten the health and safety of women living in Northern Ireland."

Bernadette pointed out that women have died from the adverse effects of the abortion pill. She continued: “These abortion pills are not safe. Not only do they kill a child in the womb – FDA claim at least 24 women worldwide have lost their lives as a result of taking these pills. These women’s lives matter, and the lives of women and innocent children in Northern Ireland matter and must be protected.

She concluded: “It is false to suggest abortion is essential healthcare. Over 1,000 medical doctors have signed the ‘Dublin Declaration’ which affirms that abortion is never medically necessary. The scientific and medical consensus is clear - deliberately killing a child at any stage is never necessary. We will fight BPAS’ callous attack on human life, and we will continue to offer vulnerable women facing unintended pregnancies, life-affirming and compassionate alternatives.”
