"Restore Personhood" Event at Stormont - Videos Part 5 & 6
Watch Videos Part 5 & 6 [see below] of Precious Life's Special Live-Stream event outside Stormont with guest speakers to mark one year since abortion was legalised in Northern Ireland.
Retired GP, Dr Anne McCloskey from Derry, explained why abortion can “never ever be regarded as healthcare”. She said, “We remember with sadness the 664 souls, but we move forward with hope …we will overturn these unjust, inhuman and anti-human laws”
One of the highlights of the event was when a baby heartbeat monitor was held to the stomach of a young pregnant mother. After the heartbeat of the baby in her womb was amplified through the PA system, Bernadette quoted the words of William Wilberforce – the British politician and leader of the movement to abolish the slave trade - “You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know.”
It was back in October 2019, that Westminster forced abortion on Northern Ireland. The legislation contained in Section 9 of the NI (Executive Formation) Act removed the sections of the Offences Against The Person Act that had protected unborn babies in Northern Ireland. Department of Health (DoH) figures released at the start of October 2020 revealed that 664 abortions have now been carried out in Northern Ireland.
Our event at Stormont sent out a clear message to our Assembly - REPEAL SECTION 9 and RESTORE PERSONHOOD for Northern Ireland’s unborn children.
